\nanswer<\/span>. <\/span>We welcomed 10,456,000 MICE travellers, generating
\n61.317 billion baht<\/span>. <\/span>Of these travellers, 500,000 were international
\nvisitors, brining in 29.819 billion baht, and 9<\/span>.<\/span>95 million
\ndomestic travellers, spending 31.498 billion baht<\/span>. <\/span>It was
\nestimated that in 2020, the MICE market in Thailand generated 165 billion baht,
\nand allowed the nation to collect almost 11.59 billion baht in tax and created
\nmore than 95,300 jobs<\/span>. <\/span>Not only that, we adhere to the
\ngovernment’s <\/span>“<\/span>Thailand 4<\/span>.<\/span>0<\/span>“<\/span> policy<\/span> <\/span>that focusses on the use of
\ninnovation and sustainable event management<\/span>. <\/span>Event participants
\ngot to experience the lively scenes of seven MICE cities<\/span>: <\/span>Bangkok,
\nKhon Kaen, Chiang Mai, Nakhon Ratchasima, Pattaya <\/span>(<\/span>Chonburi<\/span>)<\/span>, Phuket, and Songkhla<\/span>. <\/span>Other potential
\nMICE cities in Thailand include Chiang Rai, Udon Thani, Phitsanulok,
\nKanchanaburi, Ubon Ratchathani, Rayong, Cha<\/span>–<\/span>am\/Hua Hin,
\nSurat Thani, and Nakhon Si Thammarat<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

    <\/span>Thailand is now ready to be
\nthe centre of the MICE business in Asia<\/span>. <\/span>In preparation,
\nTCEB has paved the way for the establishment of<\/span> <\/span>regional TCEB
\noffices in the four main regions of Thailand, working hand in hand with both the
\npublic and private sectors in each region<\/span>. <\/span>We aim<\/span> <\/span>to facilitate the sustainable development of the event
\nmanagement business across the country<\/span>. <\/span>We are also training
\npersonnel for offices in the four regions<\/span>: <\/span>the south,
\nnorth, northeast, and central and east<\/span>. <\/span>Each office takes
\na progressive approach towards event management, co-operating with local
\ngovernmental bodies and businesses to raise awareness and create jobs<\/span>. <\/span>With the slogan <\/span>“<\/span>Restore, Support,
\nPromote<\/span>“<\/span>, we are pushing Thailand to be the centre of
\nthe MICE industry in Asia and restore the country’s economy in every aspect<\/span>. <\/span>Thailand is more than ready to lead<\/span>.<\/span><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

    <\/span>The main missions of TCEB at
\nthe regional level are to push development policy that integrates MICE business
\npolicy with local strategic planning, and to initiate personnel training and
\nlocation preparation, as well as to raise awareness among local entrepreneurs<\/span>. <\/span>We also aim to support in promotion and bidding for events at
\nnational and international levels, and to archive and analyse relevant
\ninformation that is crucial to the strategic development of the MICE business<\/span>. <\/span>We advocate for distribution of jobs and income to locals, and
\nurge cities to be prepared for the advent of the MICE industry in their region<\/span>.<\/span><\/o_p><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

    <\/span>Moreover, TCEB aims to be the
\nleading force in developing potential cities in each region to become
\ninternationally-recognised event and exhibition go<\/span>–<\/span>to locations<\/span>. <\/span>We believe in building networks of alliances in the regions,
\npolicy integration, the voice of the locals, and sharing the same goals in
\ndeveloping areas and communities for the MICE business. We urge people to
\nparticipate, learn about and understand the MICE industry while maintaining
\ntheir unique traditions. We aim to distribute prosperity and income to all
\nregions and communities, and to enhance the holistic economy of the country<\/span>. <\/span>In this way, Thailand can become a true full<\/span>–<\/span>service
\nmeeting point that is the centre of the MICE industry in Asia<\/span>.<\/span><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n
