5 Key Thai partners, consisting of Thailand Society of Sugar Cane Technologists (TSSCT), Pinkanakorn Development Agency, Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), Mitr Phol Sugar Group and ISGEC Heavy Engineering Limited, jointly announced during the press conference in Bangkok on February 26 the readiness to host XXIX International Society of Sugar Cane Technologists Congress between 5 and8 December 2016 at Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Center (CMECC), in the city of Chiang Mai, northern Thailand.
The congress will be a platform to exchange knowledge and showcase technological advances and innovation in sugar cane and sugar production under the theme “Sufficient and Sustainable Agri-Sugar Cane from Small Farmers to Global Exporters”. So far 70% of the exhibition space has been sold to both Thai and overseas entrepreneurs.
